One of the BEST in Vancouver. Food is fantastic, I love Akbar Joojeh dish. It was how some even better than Iran’s Akbar Joojeh. Staffs are so friendly. The time we went there is was my husband’s birthday and when a staff found it, she brought baklava with candle on top and played “Happy Birthday song” for him and surprised us. Thank you so much for the good food and atmosphere. PLEASE REMAIN LIKE THIS!

It was a night to remember at Akbar Joojeh! As I walked in on Persian New Year's eve, I was greeted by the gentleman at the door, who welcomed me with surprising efficiency despite the chaos. I can give you a table in just a few minutes he said with a smile and just like that, I was seated and ready for a culinary adventure. As Anthony Bourdain once said, Your body is not a temple it's an amusement park. Enjoy the ride! And enjoy the ride I did :) The food arrived promptly, and the Akbar loghme was cooked to perfection. The plating was slightly off, but the staff proactively brought an extra plate of juicy chicken to the table a thoughtful touch that showed they were paying attention to every detail. Rasa, our server, was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything went smoothly. The only downside was that they didn't serve tea on busy days, but that's a minor disappointment. All in all, Akbar Jojeh exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back for another delicious ride!
The best persian food you can have in Vancouver! You get a great service from the minute you walk in and honestly that’s hard to find these days. Their menu has a lot of options and you can try different kinds of persian food from their great morgh o alo to the Jalapeno kebab. Mozhgan was our server and did not take her eyes off our table the whole time. The whole crew helped each other and took care of the restaurant in a very beautiful way. If you want to have a highlight memory of a restaurant this place is where you need to go!
The food was great! We tried the plum chicken, baby chicken, and beef kebabs. The beef dishes were definitely the highlight—rich, tender, and packed with flavor. One of their sauces, though, was incredibly strong and intense, and the yogurt drink? That hit me like a truck—bold and powerful! But I loved every bit of it. To top it off, a kind server went out of her way to bring me extra sauce packets when I asked for the one I had to be packed. Instead of just repacking it, she brought me fresh ones. A really nice touch to a great meal!
